Navigating the Unpredictable: A Journey through Uncertain Times

Life can take unexpected turns, often changing our perspective and challenging our resilience. I want to share the sobering moment when my father called to inform us that our loved one was diagnosed with cancer. The uncertainty of an undocumented diagnosis, the rush of emotions, and the subsequent chemotherapy, are all part of a challenging journey many families face.

Earlier this year, an 8cm ovarian cyst was discovered during a routine check-up. However, the real shock came as we noticed a bad fluid build-up in her leg, which led to an urgent surgery. The night before, my dad informed us that the doctors suspected the worst.

A general practitioner confirmed that it was a thyroid issue, and a surgery followed shortly after. Yet, the challenging journey did not end there.
