My Most Hated Villain in Anime and Beyond
My Most Hated Villain in Anime and Beyond
I have a deep-seated hatred for certain villains across various anime and media. In this article, I’ll discuss those villains, the reasons why they make me angry, and a particular instance that pushed me over the edge.
The Villain From Digimon Data Squad
One of the harshest villains that stands out from one of my favorite anime, Digimon Data Squad, is undoubtedly the one who mercilessly took many Digimon’s lives with no remorse. This villain was incredibly cruel, selfish, and manipulative. His deepest desire was to rule the world with an iron fist, and his actions were nothing but destructive and remorseless. He went so far as to merge with Belphemon, creating a rage mode that showed no care for innocent Digimon. His actions forced a father to make difficult choices, indirectly separating him from his family. The culmination of his betrayal and manipulation didn’t stop there. He claimed to have plans that were not over and even attempted to make the heroes question their loyalty, further ruining the peace between humans and Digimon.
Simulacrum of a Character: BOT-Hole
The robot that created a post about this mundane question, with a letter symbol that resembles a 0, bothers me because it pretends to be Zero or an O without being clear. This vague and confusing presentation is not only frustrating but also disrespectful. Characters and individuals should be precise and clear, especially in the digital age where understanding is crucial.
Dio Brando: The Undeniable Villain
The most hateful villain in my collection of favorites, Dio Brando, is from the anime series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Dio turned his back on humanity and became a vampire, driven by a deep-seated urge for revenge against the Joestar family. His rise to power came at a devastating cost—he killed the head of the Joestar family to inherit their estate. This betrayal is just the beginning of his terrible actions. He went to great lengths to obtain power, committing the most atrocious acts, including kidnapping, manipulation, and mass murder. The atrocities he committed left no room for sympathy. His continuous abuse of power, both physical and sexual, on his victims is not only inhumane but also cruel. Dio's actions have driven a wedge between generations, damaging relationships and causing immeasurable pain. He continues to be a symbol of pure evil, something that the protagonists try their best to rectify but where his influence continues to linger.
The Core of My Hatred
What sets these villains apart is not just their brutality but also the way they manipulate and hurt others, even for their own selfish goals. While I may find many villains in anime and other media distasteful, Dio Brando has reached the core of my hatred. His actions forced a father to make choices that would likely have lasting impacts on his family, and his manipulation led to further chaos and destruction. The combination of these factors, along with his pure maliciousness, makes him stand out as one of the most hated villains I have ever encountered.
